Follow news reports on a chosen topic with the help of notifications

One of the new features in Event Registry is notifications for your selected topic.

Being notified of what the media are reporting on a theme or topic of your choice is now simple.

Enabling notifications requires you to first have a Topic Page, a feature available to Event Registry’s paying users. In the example below, we are following the news on the upcoming French Open.

Creating a topic page about French Open

As we can see, the annual festival of tennis in Paris has served up some interesting news even before the first serve has been hit. The refusal of the organisers to grant Maria Sharapova wild card entry was one of the most reported events in sports around the world last week.

ER users can check the latest reports on their selected topics by visiting the topic page. Now they canĀ also have the results delivered to their e-mail address via notifications on chosen days and times. To do this click on Configure e-mail alerts button.
